I am a Landscape Architect gratuated from Manchester Metropolitan University, where I was awarded a First Class Honours in Landscape Design.

I am a member of the Landscape Institute in England.

Before moving to the UK I gained a degree in Architecture in Italy, where I practiced this profession for some years.

Garden design is now my speciality, but my experience range from urban design to planning. I participated to park regeneration projects.

I have designed many garden schemes, ranging from very small courtyards to large country gardens. The studio-garden at Granada TV in Manchester was the project that mostly contributed to increase my knowledge on management and horticulture.

I am specialized in modern design, including new imaginative way to use old materials, but as I take inspiration from what is around the garden, the influence can evolve into different styles.

I am particularly interested and support a new approach to planting that follows ecological principles, as developed by Dutch and German designers and few pioneers in England. This involves the use of perennials in public places or flower meadows in large areas where low maintenance is needed.

My extensive knowledge of plants has its roots on the ground, having maintained large gardens and experimented on many microclimate, soil-type and habitats.

I am based in Manchester, where I can provide contractors to carry out the works of soft and hard landscape and offer direct assistance during building process.
